• The Gel Arm and Leg Retainer Pads offers both pressure relieving properties and a durable high performance product. The gel is made from polyurethane to avoid splitting and has a tough, yet effective outer skin.

• Inner: A bespoke polyurethane gel developed by Teasdale’s whereby firmness/softness can be adjusted. The gel has a three way stretch to avoid splitting or tearing and has superior shock absorbency.

  Outer Skin: 14thou thickness skin ensure minimum tearing or the outer skin while maintaining pressure relieving integrity.

  Cleaning: 1,000 ppm diluted or 0.1% hypochlorite solution (to be used in conjunction with local infection control guidelines).

• Ensure the correct size Arm/Leg Retainer has been selected for the gel pad.

  Slide the pocket over the Arm Retainer so that the gel side is facing inwards towards the patient.

  Slide the base of the Arm Retainer between the operating table and the operating table mattress, or between the mattress and the patient, to retain the arm in place next to the body.
