Mentor Gel Hybrid Cushion (flat)

A Foam-Gel hybrid cushion whereby a Polyurethane Gel pad is bonded to a castellated foam base to offer flexibility of movement and pressure relief.

The polyurethane gel is manufactured from a unique compound created by Teasdale and has been widely used in the Operating Theatre for over 30 years offering pressure relief for lengthy procedures.

Foam : High resilience supportive foam

Gel: Polyurethane compound which is multi- stretch and high shock absorption rate.

Cover : Nylon coated polyurethane cover which is waterproof, multi-stetch and vapour permeable with
welded seams.

Fire Retardancy: Crib 5, Ignition Source 0 to BS7177

Cleaning: Cover – can be washed to 70 degrees and a cool tumble dry.
Inner – wipe over gel part only protecting the foam from getting wet. Clincal wipes can be
used for the gel.

Place the cushion on an appropriate chair or wheelchair with the print facing upwards.

The cushion can then be used any way round.
