Abduction (Varicose Vein) Board
The easy and convenient abduction board allows for the board to be slid under the operating table mattress to create a surface either side for abducting legs during vascular surgery.
Can be provided with: removeable pads, replacement pads and a handle for ease of transport.

Base: Wooden base
Pads: High resilient foam covered in polyurethane coated nylon which is wipe clean, multi-stretch
and vapour permeable.
Fire Retardancy : Crib 5, Ignition Source 0 (BS7177)
Cleaning : 0.1% hypochlorite solution and warm water. Rinse and dry thoroughly before re-use.
Medical wipes can also be used.
Slide the board between the pads between the operating table top and the operating table mattress.
Position the patient’s feet on the pads on either side of the table so that the legs are abducted.
