• The Lady Laminectomy Support designed specifically for women when undergoing spinal procedures. As well as the the central hollow for relieving pressure from the diaphragm, the support comes with a cut out for the breast area helping avoid bruising and tenderness following prone surgical procedures. There is also a cut out for the chin so that the patients head and neck can be comfortably positioned when intubated.

  Adult size: 38″ (965mm) x 19″ (483mm)
  5″ (127mm) down to 2.5″ (63mm)

  Bespoke sizes available upon request.

• Inner: High resilient foam

  Outer: Polyurethane coated nylon cover which is wipe-clean, multi-stretch and vapour permeable.
  Also available in neoprene covering.

  Fire Retardancy : Crib 5, Ignition Source 0 (BS7177)

  Cleaning : 0.1% hypochlorite solution and warm water. Rinse and dry thoroughly before re-use.
  Medical wipes can also be used.

• Place the support on the operating table.

  Lay the woman in a prone position with the abdomen placed in the hollow and the breasts in the cut outs at the head end.

  The chin to be placed in the recess.
